REGISTERED NURSE
Wound / Ostomy

The selected candidate will promote specialty care either directly or indirectly to patients with wound/skin concerns including initial and follow-up assessments/evaluations and ordering specific follow-up when indicated. Serves as liaison between nursing staff, medical staff, pharmacy and patients regarding wound care. Self directed, this nurse is an expert practitioner with strong education and consultant role components.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required (MSN strongly preferred). Current Florida Licensure as a Registered Nurse. Two (2) years experience in working with patients in Wound/Ostomy in a clinical setting required. Teaching skills, communication skills and WOCN certification preferred. Membership in a professional organization associated with wound care preferred. Current CPR certification required.
